Our lures are made using the latest technology available. All Spinner baits use tinned wire for better vibration, Mustad Ultra Point Hooks, and ball bearing swivels to attach the blades to the lure. All spinner baits are available in 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 ounce designs.
Our buzz baits also use Mustad Ultra Point Hooks and the lures are available in 1/4 and 3/8 ounce.
The Shaky Heads have a flat bottom for better balance and also use 4/0 Mustad Ultra Point Hooks. Available 1/8, 3/16, and 1/4 ounce sizes, these heads have a spring keeper to hold the soft plastic to the lure.
The Buzz Frogs are available in any blade/frog combination. Mustad Ultra Point Hooks that have been weighted are used.
All lures are made in Mississippi using products from manufacturing companies located throughout The United States.
We use powder coating for better paint durability and red 3-D eyes to give off a better reflection.

In 1994, I purchased MISTER HOOTY Lures from the man that originated the lure. He gave me all the information to produce a Spinner Bait that had proven fishing catching quality.
When I started Hi-Performance Lures, I used the wire and blade combination that were used with MISTER HOOTY Lures.
